New production line for SUPERMIRROR K10 mirror polishing sheets
We are delighted to announce that, starting on October 29th, 2024, our new Supermirror K10 mirror polishing line for sheets will officially be ready to work!!
This latest investment has become essential to ensure the highest quality standards for all customers. Our Supermirror polishing line is the only one in the world capable of achieving surface roughness levels close to zero and a degree of brilliance that tends toward perfection, which can be classified as K10.
MTS's Supermirror production line boasts advanced technological expertise, is fully automated, and extremely fast in terms of production. The main feature of the MTS Supermirror line is the uniformity of brightness across the entire surface, along with the complete absence of surface defects such as pinholes, dents, scratches, or orange peel effects.
The production range of our Supermirror K10 line is as follows:
- Width: up to 2000mm
- Length: up to 6500mm
- Thickness: from 0.4mm to 8.0mm
- Finish: K10 (the highest level of polishing and brilliance obtainable)
- Fully automated packaging and handling
Recent market studies have shown that 75% of Supermirror-type stainless steel sheets are imported directly from Far East countries. This material is often labeled as Supermirror, but the results frequently fall far short of expectations. Poor-quality raw materials, inconsistent and superficial polishing, dents, pinholes or scratches, inappropriate packaging, lack of flatness, and delivery delays are just some of the issues that many of our loyal customers have encountered over the years.
Moreover, since there is no real regulation regarding surface finishes, many producers from the Far East area sell material as Supermirror, even when they do not meet the minimum prerequisites for such ranking. This leads to customer confusion and general market disorientation.
